Bitumen brokerage · United Kingdom
Mantle Commodities connects refineries and suppliers with the buyers who need their product. We work as an introducing broker, and we treat verified origin as the condition of every introduction we make.
01 — Product
Paving and roofing grades, in the packaging that suits the route and how the buyer will handle it on arrival. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we can source it.
Standard paving grades, specified by penetration depth and used in asphalt production worldwide. 60/70 is the global workhorse.

Bulk tanker or vessel
Bitutainer 20–25 MT
Quality and quantity verified at load port by independent inspection — SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas — where the trade warrants it.
02 — Approach
We are an introducing broker. Buyer and seller contract and settle directly with one another, and we are paid a commission agreed in writing beforehand. That structure keeps our interest in the deal completing cleanly rather than in what sits between the two of you.
We establish what you actually need, or actually hold. Grade, volume, packaging, destination, timing, and the commercial terms you can genuinely work to.
Counterparties are screened before any introduction is made. Origin is evidenced by certificate and, where the trade warrants it, by independent inspection at load port.
We bring the parties together under written agreement and stay with the transaction until the cargo has moved and both sides are satisfied.
03 — Origin
In this market, product is routinely offered with an origin that does not survive scrutiny. That is not a paperwork technicality. For a buyer it is a sanctions exposure, a banking problem, and in the worst case a criminal one.
We would rather lose a cargo than pass on one we cannot stand behind. It costs us a commission. It costs a buyer considerably more to discover the problem after the fact.
If a seller will not name the refinery, we do not take the cargo to market.
Before any introduction
04 — Company
Mantle Commodities Limited is incorporated in England and Wales. Our registration, our directors and our filing history sit on the Companies House public register, and we would encourage you to look before dealing with us, or with anyone else in this market.
Contracts are governed by English law. Commission is agreed in writing before any introduction is made, so there is never a question about what is owed or by whom.

05 — Contact
Grade, volume, destination and timing is enough to start. If we can help we will say so quickly, and if we cannot we will tell you that instead rather than keep you in a chain that goes nowhere.
